Hello all! So it's true! As Ash said in a post before, I'm expecting my second baby! Just to do something fun and different, I thought I would do a little bit of an update just on my pregnancy. Corny? Maybe. But here we go!
How far along? 18 weeks
Total weight gain/measurements: About 3 pounds
Maternity clothes: Sometimes! In the last couple weeks my belly has popped out! I don't really NEED maternity clothes yet but my AAAAAAAMAZING friends have been lending me all of their gorgeous and comfy maternity clothes which are way more fun to wear than my normal non maternity clothes. :-)
Stretch marks: Nope!
Sleep: I usually sleep fine. Sometimes I find my back hurting, sometimes my toddler wakes me up a couple times a night to go pee pee, sometimes I'm the one who has to pee 3 times a night... but generally I sleep just fine!
Best moment this week: I LOVE MY MONDAYS! This week I put on some of my new maternity clothes, dropped off my son at kindergarten, put on my headphones and turned on my favorite podcast, rode the tram downtown, spent an hour at Starbucks working on photos, then spent a couple hours with some of my best friends and their amazing children at a local favorite coffee/breakfast spot <3 It was a morning that helped me unwind, spend time doing things, thinking about things and talking about things that mattered. It was a good day :-)
Miss anything? Soft cheeses!!
Movement: Yes! I'm just now starting to feel the little jabs!
Food cravings: Chinese dumplings. I think about them every day. Have not been able to get my hands on any yet though.
Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope!
Gender: I don't know yet!
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or moody most of the time: I'm usually all over the place lately. It's a bit frustrating for the boys in my home, I'm sure.
Looking forward to: Finding out the gender next month!
So, that's it! My pregnancy is pretty uneventful right now! I'm feeling good and enjoying every moment. My goals for the next few weeks are to take more bump photos and to be better at exercising! Do any of you have any favorite way to keep fit during your pregnancy?? I need some motivation!
